Project Leader - Cables Service
You will contribute to electrical infrastructure projects concerning cables, from definition through to closure. You will be involved in the definition, study, and design of the projects, and ensure the execution and administrative closure. Depending on your experience, you will take on these tasks autonomously or under supervision. You will be active within the infrastructure projects department.
Project Tasks:
As a Project Leading Service (CABLES), you'll contribute to electrical infrastructure projects (380, 220, 150, 70 and 36 kV) concerning cables. This includes technical studies, execution and guidance, performing calculations, developing and monitoring budgets and planning, taking into account required and available resources and client requests. You will also develop tender files and participate in the purchasing process. You will lead and coordinate execution on site in collaboration with involved employees within the Elia Group as well as suppliers, contractors, and clients. You will communicate and report on the progress of the project.
Primary Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Involvement in the project from definition to closure: participation in the definition, study, and design of the projects and ensuring the execution and administrative closure.
- Technical studies, execution and guidance.
- Performing calculations, development and monitoring of budgets and planning of projects, taking into account required and available resources and client requests.
- Development of tender files and participation in the purchasing process.
- Leading and coordinating execution on site in collaboration with involved employees within the company as well as suppliers, contractors, clients.
- Communication and reporting on the progress of the project.
- Depending on experience, these tasks are taken on autonomously or under supervision.
- Client offers a very extensive training package.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanics, or equivalent through experience and strongly interested in technology.
- Experience in project management and/or experience in site supervision is a plus.
- Perfect knowledge of French mandatory. Knowledge of the other national language is an important asset.
- Interest in the energy sector.
- Strong sense of responsibility, pronounced organizational talent.
- Communication skills with smooth assertiveness and client-oriented.
- Good teamwork with a good dose of resourcefulness.
- The candidate must reside close to Brussels or Hainaut.
