Maintenance Planner

Maintenance Planner / Work Preparation Engineer responsible for preparing, planning and coordinating maintenance activities in an industrial production environment. The role focuses on efficient maintenance execution, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.


Responsibilities
  • Prepare work orders for preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Provide technical documentation, drawings and work instructions
  • Ensure timely availability of materials, tools and spare parts
  • Assess technical feasibility of maintenance work
  • Create and manage short- and long-term maintenance schedules
  • Coordinate with production, procurement and external contractors
  • Monitor work orders and adjust planning when needed
  • Allocate work to technicians and contractors
  • Act as first point of contact for technical and organisational questions
  • Ensure compliance with safety legislation and procedures
  • Prepare and review Task Risk Analyses and work permits
  • Manage and update CMMS systems such as SAP PM, Ultimo or Maximo
  • Record maintenance activities, breakdowns and materials
  • Prepare KPI reports such as MTTR and MTBF
  • Support continuous improvement, RCA, TPM and Lean Maintenance
     
Requirements
  • MBO+ or HBO level, preferably Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Technical Business Administration
  • 3–5 years of experience in a technical environment
  • Experience with maintenance planning and CMMS
  • Knowledge of ATEX, NEN 3140, PGS and Dutch safety legislation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good Dutch communication skills
  • English is an advantage
