Advisor Supply Chain Safety & Security

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Safety & Security Advisor who will be responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, and resilient supply chain. The role focuses on implementing safety and security policies, managing supplier risks, and embedding security requirements throughout procurement, tendering, and contract management processes. You will work closely with buyers, contract managers, category managers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain Safety & Security and Supply Chain Security Assurance (SCSA) policies throughout the procurement and contract management process.
  • Integrate safety, security, and resilience requirements into procurement strategies, category plans, tendering procedures, and contracts.
  • Conduct and coordinate risk analyses covering digital and physical security risks.
  • Monitor safety and security risks within supply chain processes.
  • Translate policies and risk frameworks into practical processes, procedures, guidelines, and work instructions.
  • Monitor compliance with safety and security standards.
  • Support and guide internal and external audits, including Safety Culture Ladder, ISO 45001, and ISO 27001.
  • Prepare quarterly State of Security reports, management reports, and KPI updates.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement improvement measures.
  • Act as the point of contact for Safety & Security within Supply Chain Management.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Corporate Security, regulatory authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Advise management on risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Organize and coordinate safety and security training.
Requirements
  • HBO or WO working and thinking level.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in procurement, public or private tendering, contract management, supplier risk management, or supply chain management.
  • Demonstrable experience translating policies and risk frameworks into procurement processes, tender documents, and contractual requirements.
  • Knowledge of sourcing, tendering, contracting, and supplier management processes.
  • Experience with risk management, compliance, audits, and process improvement.
  • Experience with stakeholder management in an operational or tactical environment.
  • Preferably knowledge of third-party security, supplier assurance, and supply chain risk management.
  • Preferably knowledge of Safety Culture Ladder, occupational health and safety management systems, and/or ISMS.
  • Preferably knowledge of applicable procurement law and tendering principles.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams is an advantage.
