We ARE Renewables is seeking a Business Solution Manager for one of our clients in in Brussels.

We are building and scaling the Asset Needs Management (ANM) product and are seeking a senior, hands-on professional to reinforce its Product Owner.
As Senior Product Expert, you will work closely with the Product Owner, Asset Managers, domain experts, Data specialists and IT teams. You will combine product thinking, asset-management understanding and hands-on technical analysis to transform complex operational challenges into scalable product capabilities.

This mission offers significant autonomy, visibility and impact. You will take ownership of complex product topics, accelerate implementation and progressively build the knowledge and stakeholder trust required to act as a reliable backup for the Product Owner during periods of unavailability.

More precisely, you will help the ANM product to:

• Generate and manage high-quality maintenance, replacement and risk-mitigation needs;
• Define, validate and improve the rules and data used to generate asset needs;
• Increase transparency on prioritisation, costs, risks and generation results;
• Identify anomalies and data-quality issues and translate them into sustainable improvements;
• Evolve towards more automated, integrated and data-driven ways of working.

Tasks and responsibilities
Support the Product Owner in shaping and delivering the ANM product roadmap in line with customer needs and company objectives;
• Take end-to-end ownership of selected product topics, from problem framing and stakeholder alignment to validation and implementation follow-up;
• Analyse, challenge and improve maintenance, replacement and risk-mitigation processes and translate them into scalable product capabilities;
• Define, document, test and validate the generation rules and decision logic used to create asset needs;
• Use Python to analyse datasets, reproduce results, validate hypotheses, investigate anomalies and challenge business logic;
• Identify data-quality issues, assess their business impact and coordinate appropriate corrective actions;
• Facilitate workshops with Asset Managers, domain experts and other stakeholders, bringing structure to complex or ambiguous topics;
• Act as the bridge between Asset Management, Product, Data and IT, ensuring shared understanding of objectives, priorities and expected outcomes;
• Prepare clear recommendations, product documentation, decision material and stakeholder communications;
• Support backlog preparation, refinement and prioritisation, ensuring that product items are clear, valuable and ready for delivery;
• Support testing, release preparation, deployment, user adoption and continuous improvement;
• Monitor product quality and business outcomes and recommend improvements based on facts, user feedback and data;
• Ensure continuity of product activities and, when required, act as deputy for the Product Owner in stakeholder alignment, backlog decisions, delivery follow-up and product ceremonies.

Key requirements
• You bring relevant experience in product delivery, digital transformation, process optimisation, data-driven decision support or comparable roles;
• You have proven experience working at the intersection of operational business, technology and data, preferably in an industrial, infrastructure, utility or asset-intensive environment;
• You have strong hands-on Python expertise and are comfortable using code to investigate complex business questions;
• You are able to turn ambiguous operational challenges into clear options, recommendations and actionable product outcomes;
• You communicate complex topics clearly and can influence senior stakeholders without formal authority;
• You are autonomous, pragmatic, curious and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-evolving environment;
• You combine strategic perspective with a hands-on mentality and are willing to go deep into processes, rules, data and implementation details;
• You have strong workshop facilitation, stakeholder-management and presentation skills;
• You are comfortable contributing to backlog prioritisation, roadmap planning, product ceremonies and delivery decisions;
• Experience in Asset Management, maintenance engineering, reliability engineering, Enterprise Asset Management or asset decision-support solutions is a strong asset;
• Experience with Power BI or modern data platforms is an asset;
• Language skills: professional proficiency in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French.
