Location: Niebüll, Germany
Duration: ~6 months (with potential for extension)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead a large-scale industrial construction project in Germany. You will oversee all on-site activities, ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with quality and HSE standards. Acting as the key link between contractors, the project team, and the client, you will drive effective collaboration and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate all construction and installation activities on site
Monitor daily progress, safety, and quality of work
Ensure project goals are met regarding schedule, budget, quality, and HSE
Manage contractors and subcontractors
Serve as primary point of contact for all on-site stakeholders
Maintain and track the construction schedule
Identify and manage risks, deviations, and changes
Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment
Report progress, risks, and performance to project management
Support change management processes and escalate issues as needed
What You Bring
Completed technical education (vocational or bachelor’s degree)
Extensive experience as a Construction Manager in industrial projects
Proven track record in site and contractor management
Strong knowledge of HSE processes and safety management
Experience with stakeholder and change management
Solid understanding of German construction laws and regulations
Fluent in German (spoken and written)
Strong organizational, coordination, and decision-making skills
Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary, complex project environments
