We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector/Auditor to perform two critical quality assurance activities at the Vestas nacelle manufacturing facility in Szczecin, Poland. This role involves conducting an ISO 9001 process/product audit on 25th August, followed by a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) inspection of nacelles on 26th–27th August. The successful candidate will act as an independent quality representative, ensuring manufacturing processes and final products meet stringent industry standards and project specifications .

📋 Tasks & Responsibilities

ISO 9001 Process/Product Audit (25th August):

  • Conduct a comprehensive ISO 9001 process and product audit at the Vestas nacelle assembly facility .

  • Review and verify manufacturing processes, including raw material handling, fabrication, assembly, and finishing against approved Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), OEM procedures, and applicable standards .

  • Evaluate quality control measures, testing protocols, and defect management systems .

  • Inspect workforce qualifications, competencies, and QA/QC training records .

  • Review quality documentation including Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and corrective actions .

  • Verify that production capabilities, productivity metrics, and delivery performance align with project requirements .

  • Assess the effectiveness of hold points, acceptance criteria, and inspection history .

FAT Inspection (26th–27th August):

  • Perform Factory Acceptance Test inspections on nacelles and associated components .

  • Witness and verify manufacturing and testing progress, analyzing measurements against defined checklists .

  • Monitor testing lead time to ensure completion within the agreed schedule .

  • Verify conditions on site using 5M methodology (Man, Machine, Material, Method, Measurement) prior to performing inspections .

  • Identify, document, and report non-conformances and findings to the Project Manager .

  • Suggest improvements to the supplier to enhance product quality and testing conditions .

  • Prepare detailed inspection reports based on the format provided by the client
