We ARE Renewables is looking for a Configuration and Change Manager for one of our clients in the energy sector.
At OTI&T, stability, reliability, and continuous improvement are central. The Configuration & Change Manager plays a key role in managing assets, configurations, and changes within networks, platforms, and systems. You act as the link between technology and process and are responsible for ensuring controlled changes and reliable configuration data.

Tasks and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Change Management
  • Leading and coordinating the Change Management process.
  • Designing, implementing, managing, and continuously improving the Change Management process.
  • Chair of the Change Advisory Board (CAB).
  • Management of the change calendar and change catalog.
  • Ensuring proper planning of changes and preventing conflicting changes.
  • Registering approved and rejected changes and communicating about this with stakeholders.
  • Keeping the list of default changes up to date.
  • Point of contact for escalations regarding Change Management.
  • Drafting procedures and reports on the status and health of the Change Management process.
  • Ensuring that changes are correctly processed in the CMDB. 
Configuration Management
  • Leading and coordinating the Configuration Management process.
  • Designing, implementing, managing, and continuously improving the Configuration Management process.
  • Setting up and maintaining the CMDB and supplier relationships.
  • Advising on the identification and registration of Configuration Items (CIs).
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships between CIs.
  • Classifying Configuration Items.
  • Ensuring that CIs remain correctly registered, even after changes.
  • Responsible for the integrity, quality, and availability of configuration data.
  • Coordinating and initiating CMDB audits.
  • Managing stakeholder communication, procedures, and reporting.
  • Point of contact for Configuration Management escalations.

Key Requirements
  • Higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level, preferably in Technical Informatics, Technical Business Administration, or IT Management.
  • At least 5 years of experience within the Telecom and OT domain.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Change and/or Configuration Manager
  • In possession of an ITIL certification
  • Knowledge of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, and TOPdesk.
  • Certificering in Configuration Management
Location: Delft  + Hybrid
Duration: October 2026 – October  2027 (Extension is possible)
