We are looking for a Strategic Buyer Electrical Equipment Service to lead the procurement of strategic electrical equipment within a large-scale energy infrastructure environment. You will develop procurement strategies, manage European tendering processes from start to finish, negotiate contracts, and collaborate with technical, asset management, and international stakeholders to secure long-term supply solutions that support the energy transition.

Responsibilities
  • Develop medium- and long-term procurement strategies for strategic electrical equipment.
  • Work closely with technical and asset management teams to understand future business requirements.
  • Conduct global market and supplier analyses to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Define and implement procurement strategies with internal stakeholders.
  • Lead European public procurement (EU tender) procedures from preparation through contract award.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage strategic sourcing activities.
  • Support the implementation of sustainable procurement policies.
  • Improve procurement processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Manage a strategic category of electrical assets independently (depending on experience).
  • Collaborate with international teams and suppliers to promote best practices across the organization.
  • Travel occasionally to support international stakeholder meetings.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Technical Studies, or Economics with a strong technical background.
  • 2–5 years of experience in strategic procurement, public procurement, project management, or a technical environment.
  • Experience with European tendering procedures and contract negotiations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Fluent in Dutch, French, and English  
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid environment and travel occasionally.
  • Knowledge of SAP Ariba is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of German is considered a plus
