As HSSE Manager, you will be responsible for setting up and implementing all HSE management activities within the Aramis transport infrastructure project. You ensure that the project is designed and executed according to the ALARP principle, with attention to personnel safety, integrity of the construction, protection of the environment and reputation of the organization.
You will be involved in, among other things:
  • Monitoring compliance with laws and regulations and following developments in this.
  • Setting up and propagating HSE policies, goals and associated guidelines and procedures.
  • Strengthening leadership and safety culture within the organization, with a focus on safety leadership.
  • Organizing and executing risk analyses and HSE studies for the design and implementation of installations.
  • Contributing to and following up on technical reviews and HAZOP studies.
  • Embedding security risk management in design and implementation.
  • Ensuring permits and environmental impact assessments and implementing the environmental management plan.
  • To steer towards good cooperation and performance of contractors and suppliers in the HSE field.
  • Setting up and carrying out audits and inspections and following up on improvement measures.
  • Contributing to the design of the HSE management system within the joint venture.
  • You ensure that environmental interests are structurally included in design and implementation.
  • You will work closely with project teams, contractors, partners and external stakeholders and ensure that HSE values are widely understood and applied.

Profile requirements
  • A completed (at least at HBO level) technical education, preferably engineering.
  • At least 15 years of relevant work experience in a similar role and in a similar environment.
  • At least 10 years of experience in on-site projects (construction or operation), preferably in complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in setting up and implementing HSE management systems and safety culture programs.
  • Excellent command of the English language verbally and in writing. In addition, mastering the Dutch language is preferred.
