Test Coordination Service

We are looking for a Testing Coordination Service for applications in the fields of Data Platform and Data Marketplace domains. This role involves aligning testing efforts between different teams involved in the projects, adhering to QA chapter test governance, project objectives and business requirements, e.g. in end-to-end-testing, user acceptance testing and quality feedback flow. The goal is to ensure seamless integration of testing into the overall development lifecycle.

Service description:

The mission consists in following tasks:

Test Strategy & Planning

Define test objectives and approach for E2E testing, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
Ensure that test plans are developed and maintained, supporting the goals of the individual products while also aligning with the global project objectives.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Work closely with program managers, project managers, product owners, business analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure testing efforts meet both technical and business expectations.
Act as the primary point of contact for testing-related discussions, ensuring clear communication of test progress, risks, and outcomes.

Test Coordination & Execution

Oversee test activities across different phases and levels, assigning responsibilities, ensuring adequate test coverage and verifying compliance with quality standards.
Coordinate functional, integration and end-to-end (E2E) testing to validate system workflows and business processes.
Coordinate with business users to conduct UAT ensuring the system meets their requirements and expectations.

Test Data Management

Lead and structure the test data provision in SUT and adjacent systems based on best practices and industry standards ensuring compliance with legislation and applicable norms.

Defect Management & Risk Mitigation 

Track defects progress, facilitating resolution with development teams.
Assess risks in testing and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.

Test Reporting % Quality Assurance

Aggregate and analyze test results, including identifying and categorizing defects, providing clear and actionable reports to stakeholders.
Offer insights on readiness, risks, critical open defects and quality trends to support Go/No Go decisions. 

QA Chapter contribution

Proactively participate in the QA Chapter initiatives, fostering collaboration between testers and other roles and enabling sharing knowledge and lessons learnt, between teams/projects.
Support the Chapter in achieving key objectives as part of the initiatives for continuous improvement.

Requirements:
You are able to speak, read and write fluently English and French or Dutch.
(All texts are written in English and the standard language used by the team is English)
Demonstrated experience in creating comprehensive E2E test plans
Hands-on experience in coordinating and managing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business stakeholders

Capability to recognize non-functional testing needs.
Proficiency in assessing test scope and guaranteeing comprehensive test coverage.
Proven experience in coordinating Agile/Scrum teams
Be able to work autonomously.
Proficient in stakeholder management.
Have a critical mind and dare to challenge.
Be able to understand technical IT concepts like: Service and Client Application, Web Service, API, Protocol, Frontend, Backend, etc.
Soft skills: Active, Creative, Autonomous, Think out of the box, Result driven, Pragmatic and Resilient.
