We are seeking a talented and result-oriented Commercial Data & AI Lead to join our team. The role holder will report into the Commercial Strategy & Performance Manager and be part of the commercial team.

Working at the intersection of energy markets, advanced analytics and AI, you will own Nemo Link's commercial data ecosystem, lead the development of machine learning solutions, and drive the next generation of AI-enabled business processes. The role will contribute to the continued financial success and operational excellence of Nemo Link. Service description:

Key responsibilities:
Data Platform & Analytics 

Own and continuously evolve Nemo Link's Commercial Data Warehouse and analytics ecosystem. 
Drive development of dashboards, reports and decision-support tools using Power BI and Azure technologies. 
Translate business challenges into scalable data solutions that deliver measurable value. 
Coordinate development activities between business teams, ICT and external technology partners supporting a critical 24/7 infrastructure. 
Deliver commercial insights, performance analyses and executive reporting to senior management, the Management Committee and Board of Directors. 
Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning 

Act as Product Owner of RayVision, Nemo Link's Azure-based Business Analytics & AI platform. 
Define and execute the roadmap for new AI capabilities, advanced analytics solutions and intelligent automation opportunities. 
Own and further develop Nemo Link's Machine Learning Auction Prediction models, improving forecasting accuracy and commercial decision making. 
Identify, evaluate and implement innovative AI use cases that optimize existing business processes and unlock new business value. 
Collaborate with internal experts, external partners and academic institutions to bring cutting-edge analytics and AI solutions into production. 

Data Strategy & Governance 
Lead Nemo Link's Data Operating Plan and help shape the company's long-term data and AI strategy. 
Establish clear governance, ownership and documentation across the data landscape. 
Champion data quality, reliability and continuous improvement across all business processes. 
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, access management and audit requirements. 
Support the evolution of Nemo Link's Azure data platform, including architecture, security, monitoring and integration capabilities

Requirements
Proven experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data science, AI, machine learning or a related field, preferably within energy markets, utilities, financial services or other data-intensive industries
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality management, data security and access management principles.
Ability to bridge business strategy, commercial objectives and technical implementation to maximize value creation from data and AI.
Practical experience with Python/SQL and machine learning frameworks for developing predictive models and advanced analytics solutions.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. 
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI). 
Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. 

Qualifications:
Master's degree in Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Applied Economics, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline
Demonstrated written/oral fluency in English

Start: ASAP
1 year contract initially (extendable)
Work regime: Monday to Friday
Most people are based in GB (Warwick office, Richborough Converter station) but we have also an office in Brussels and a converter station close to Bruges.
