HR Assistant
Job Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the HR department.
- Maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with GDPR.
- Assist in recruitment processes: posting job ads, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Facilitate onboarding and off‑boarding procedures, including preparation of contracts, orientation materials, and exit documentation.
- Support payroll processing by gathering attendance data, managing time‑off requests, and liaising with finance.
- Coordinate internal HR communications, such as policy updates, training invitations, and employee surveys.
- Help organize employee engagement events, training sessions, and wellness programs.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and HR processes.
- Provide assistance with HR reporting and analytics as required.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Dutch proficiency is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with HRIS or payroll software.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Customer‑service oriented mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Desired Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in an HR administrative or assistant role.
- Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Exposure to payroll support, benefits administration, or employee relations.
- Previous experience in a multinational or industrial setting is a plus.
