Project Assistant

Our client is looking for a Project Assistant to coordinate and manage water connection projects from request through completion. The role combines project coordination, customer communication, administrative processing in SAP, and regular site visits to ensure work is completed safely and according to quality standards. You will work closely with customers, contractors, project developers, and technical specialists while independently managing smaller projects and monitoring progress.

Responsibilities
  • Process customer applications for new water connections in SAP.
  • Coordinate projects from request to completion.
  • Communicate with customers to discuss project requirements.
  • Visit project sites to assess situations and monitor progress.
  • Attend meetings with customers, contractors, project developers, and utility partners.
  • Prepare and issue work orders to contractors through SAP.
  • Monitor project planning, progress, and delivery.
  • Ensure contractors follow safety procedures and project guidelines.
  • Track project KPIs and discuss improvements with contractors.
     
Requirements
  • MBO Level 3 diploma, preferably in a technical field.
  • Practical knowledge or understanding of infrastructure or engineering.
  • Previous project experience is an advantage.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Good stakeholder management and networking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to regularly visit project sites.
  • Basic technical understanding and administrative accuracy.
