Job Title: Building Inspector

Role Overview:
We ARE seeking an experienced Building Inspector to support construction supervision and compliance activities across complex building projects in the Netherlands. In this role, you will monitor construction activities, ensure compliance with permits and regulations, and act as the link between contractors, municipalities, and other stakeholders to deliver safe and high-quality projects.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspections on construction projects to ensure compliance with approved permits, regulations, and safety requirements.
  • Monitor structural safety, fire safety, environmental safety, and construction quality.
  • Identify and report non-conformities and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with contractors, municipalities, developers, and project stakeholders.
  • Support enforcement activities and contribute to improving inspection processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with junior inspectors.
  • Maintain accurate inspection reports and documentation.
  • Work on a variety of projects, ranging from smaller construction works to large-scale infrastructure and industrial developments.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Building Inspector, Construction Inspector, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch building regulations, permitting processes, and the Omgevingswet.
  • Experience with construction supervision, compliance monitoring, and quality control.
  • Good understanding of structural safety and construction standards.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in Dutch.
