Delivery Scrum Master
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Scrum Master to support a large-scale IT Security and Cyber Resiliency program within a complex enterprise environment.
In this role, you will help drive the delivery of critical cybersecurity and business continuity initiatives, ensuring the successful implementation of projects aimed at strengthening operational resilience and protecting vital business services. You will work closely with cross-functional Agile teams, Product Owners, Initiative Owners, and senior stakeholders to coordinate deliveries, manage dependencies, and promote Agile best practices.
This position offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact initiatives involving cyber resilience, disaster recovery, infrastructure modernization, and security transformation.
Key Responsibilities
As the Delivery Scrum Master, you will:
Manage the end-to-end delivery of security-related initiatives and features across multiple teams.
Coordinate dependencies, risks, issues, and delivery planning between various stakeholders and Agile squads.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Scrum of Scrums, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and other delivery coordination meetings.
Support Product Owners and Initiative Owners with backlog management, prioritization, and delivery planning.
Foster Agile principles, encourage continuous improvement, and help teams become increasingly self-organized.
Monitor delivery progress, team capacity, sprint velocity, and Definition of Done (DoD) compliance.
Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, quality standards, and budget.
Report delivery status, risks, and progress to senior management and key stakeholders.
Contribute to the Continuous Improvement roadmap by identifying structural improvements and helping remove delivery impediments.
Coordinate collaboration across multiple teams, departments, and business stakeholders.
Participate in the Scrum Master Community of Practice to share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned.
IT Security & Operational Responsibilities
In addition to Agile delivery responsibilities, you will support security and resilience initiatives by:
Supporting the delivery of IT Security and Cyber Resiliency services.
Coordinating operational activities related to incidents, changes, and releases.
Helping maintain security solutions aligned with evolving business and technical requirements.
Supporting the definition and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for security services.
Identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and cyber resilience.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 6 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Delivery Manager, or Agile Delivery Lead.
Strong delivery and project management experience within complex enterprise environments.
Extensive experience working with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and cross-functional teams.
Strong knowledge of Agile planning and reporting tools such as Jira.
Good understanding of software development methodologies and Agile software delivery.
Experience coordinating large-scale initiatives across multiple teams.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently while fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
Preferred Experience
Experience within IT Security, Cybersecurity, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, or Cyber Resiliency.
Experience working in large international organizations.
Experience within the Financial Services or Banking sector.
Understanding of automated testing, Continuous Integration (CI), and modern software delivery practices.
Languages
Fluent English (mandatory)
Fluent French (mandatory)
Dutch is considered an advantage.
