HR adviser

The Aramis project objective is the development of an open access non-discriminatory CO2 transportation infrastructure to provide low-cost access to emitters to transport their CO2 volumes to offshore storage facilities.
The HR Adviser is a critical role in the Aramis CCS project. The role will involve being part of the Aramis Joint Team which is planning for and working towards the establishment of the future Aramis JV, which will realise the project.
Specifically:
  • Responsible for designing, establishing, and implementing end-to-end the HR frameworks, ways of working and processes in alignment with all Aramis partners.
  • Develops and executes Aramis project people agenda end-to-end, deploying “One Aramis” mindset and ways of working, and based on business drivers, local regulations, ER/IR strategies and compliance requirements.

Accountabilities
The Aramis HR Adviser will be accountable for the following in relation to the Aramis project:
  • Organisational/resourcing ramp-up for all project phases (incl. FEED, EEXECUTE)
  • Input in design for RFSU, stable operations and beyond
  • Capability building (in partnership with Aramis partners), including diagnostics and capability building roadmap and plan
  • Preparation and follow-up of HR budgets in support of JLT members
  • Talent management and succession planning
  • Employee engagement / change / culture
  • Organisation of Wisdom Wednesdays – Team learning Sessions
  • Workforce planning (operational and strategic)
  • Providing expertise and guidance in HR related matters
  • Providing input in the set up of HR infrastructure (all policies, processes, systems from resourcing, reward, payroll, ER/IR and learning) aligned with Aramis business objectives and in compliance with applicable legislative and statutory requirements, industry standards and best practices.
  • Contribution to operating model development and implementation
All areas of delivery will require cross-functional integration and may require integration/alignment across all Aramis partners.



Requirements
This is a highly independent and autonomous role. While the successful candidate may leverage their partner network to gather best-practice guidance, the individual will need to be highly innovative and be comfortable in operating with limited direction/corporate framework, while retaining accountability for outcomes.

  • Well-developed problem-solving skills – able to identify problems, diagnose issues, develop solutions and implement efficiently, adopting best-practice as needed
  • Highly adaptable (to joint-venture environment) and resilient; comfortable with/thrives in ambiguity
 
  • Deep proven HR experience and expertise across a range of areas including HR generalist, policy/process/systems, reward, resourcing, talent management and ODL
  • Able to take a first-principles approach to HR/people management
  • Strategic thinking and commerciality – with an ability to help translate value in both short term and long term.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills (including of Aramis partners), combined with an ability to prioritize and contract effectively.
  • Strong coaching skills
  • Strong personal leadership, with a focus on collaboration, integrative leadership and care Preferred skills:
  • Data analytics skills to derive insights and meaning, combined with external focus to drive and guide a future-focused people agenda, as also a focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience working with joint-ventures or in a joint-venture as a secondee
  • Able to learn from external insight (including networks)
  • Dutch language skills preferred
