Portfolio Planner
As a Portfolio Planner, you are responsible for ensuring that a portfolio of infrastructure projects is planned realistically, efficiently, and in an integrated way. You act as the link between portfolio management, project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders, providing reliable planning, capacity management, risk analysis, and reporting to support successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Review, maintain, and optimize project and portfolio schedules.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and capacity bottlenecks.
- Advise on planning scenarios, resource allocation, and project priorities.
- Create and manage project allocation and workload distribution plans.
- Coordinate planning activities with project teams, contractors, and external partners.
- Monitor project progress and support corrective actions when needed.
- Ensure data quality and provide accurate reporting and management information.
- Translate strategic portfolio decisions into executable project plans.
- HBO (Bachelor's) level education or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in portfolio planning, project planning, or a similar role.
- Experience within infrastructure, utilities, construction, or project-based environments.
- Knowledge of portfolio management, project management, and asset management.
- Experience with planning tools, scheduling systems, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Results-oriented, structured, and collaborative mindset.
