Job Title: Business/Process Analyst

Mission

Join a leading European transmission system operator to support the digital transformation of critical energy infrastructure. You will play a key role in harmonizing business processes, supporting the energy transition, and enabling deeper digitalization across operations.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Process Analyst to analyze, model (BPMN 2.0), and improve business processes. You will work closely with a team of business analysts, focusing specifically on process documentation and validation, while they handle specifications and IT implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model as-is and to-be business processes using BPMN 2.0 in Sparx Enterprise Architect

  • Challenge business stakeholders on their needs and future processes

  • Validate process models with stakeholders to ensure business buy-in

  • Harmonize processes across different departments and with a German sister company

  • Contribute to the development of process modeling methodologies

  • Support end-users post-implementation

  • Create training materials and deliver end-user training as part of change management

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree (technical or economic) or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Process Analyst

  • Strong analytical and critical mindset – you dare to challenge

  • Excellent communication skills (spoken and written)

  • Ability to work independently and within a team, building consensus across stakeholders

  • Strong customer orientation and flexibility

Technical Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of BPMN 2.0 and UML

  • Experience with Sparx Enterprise ArchitectJira, and DevOps is a plus

Languages

  • English: good knowledge (reading, writing)

  • Dutch or French: very good knowledge (speaking, reading, writing)

  • The second national language (Dutch/French): good knowledge (speaking, reading, writing)

Work Conditions

  • Location: Brussels (Schaerbeek)

  • Regime: Full-time

  • Onsite presence: 2 days per week required by default
