Business Consultant
We ARE Renewables is looking for a Business Consultant for one of our clients in the energy sector.
As a business consultant you will work independently and on a project basis to improve and renew processes and systems executed and used by operations. In this assignment, you will be responsible for various processes that contribute to the client’s task regarding reducing waiting lists in accordance with the ACM's new societal prioritization framework, developing new forecasts and congestion reports, and further developing integrated management of the portfolio of congestion areas.
Task and Responsibilities
- Supporting the further development of the program
- Managing communication: Acting as a point of contact for communication between team members and stakeholders.
- Maintaining documentation: Ensure accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Coordinating meetings: Planning and organizing meetings, including drafting agendas and minutes.
- Prepare progress reports: Track project progress and report to the regional congestion manager and team leader.
- Risk management: Identifying potential risks and contributing to the development of risk management plans.
- Minimum HBO working and thinking level
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Consultant within the infrastructure sector (preferred if this was with a grid operator)
- Experience in clearing waiting lists is a plus.
- Experience with the complexity between the national grid operator (Tennet) and a regional grid operator is an advantage.
- Experience in developing area strategies within the context of a regional grid operator is an advantage
Location: Rotterdam + Hybrid
Duration: June 2026 – December 2026 (Extension is possible)
