About the Assignment
Our client, a leading organization operating within a complex and rapidly evolving environment, is looking for an experienced Agile Coach to support and strengthen Agile ways of working at scale.
The organization operates within a mature SAFe framework, consisting of multiple portfolios and Agile Release Trains (ARTs). The successful candidate will play a key role in bridging Agile theory and practical implementation, helping leadership teams, Scrum Masters, and Release Train Engineers translate Agile principles into measurable business outcomes.
This role focuses on enabling leadership, improving collaboration, simplifying complexity, and driving continuous improvement across the organization.
Responsibilities
As Agile Coach, you will work closely with ART leadership teams, helping them strengthen their collective ownership of ART performance and effectiveness. You will support leaders in applying SAFe principles in a way that fits the organization's context and strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
Coaching and supporting ART leadership teams to improve effectiveness, collaboration, and value delivery.
Working alongside Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and Scrum Masters to enhance Agile practices, delivery capabilities, and team performance.
Facilitating improved collaboration within and across ARTs and portfolios.
Identifying systemic impediments and helping stakeholders address root causes rather than symptoms.
Driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on organizational agility and business impact.
Advising senior stakeholders and IT leadership on Agile transformation, operational effectiveness, and organizational adaptability.
Supporting teams and leaders in reducing complexity and creating sustainable ways of working.
Promoting alignment between business objectives and IT delivery.
Assignment Areas
Agile Coach – Digital Domain
Within this area, you will support ARTs that are closely aligned with business operations and customer-facing processes. The focus is on digital transformation, optimization of business value streams, and strengthening the alignment between business priorities and technology delivery.
Responsibilities include:
Coaching ART leadership and Agile teams to maximize business value delivery.
Improving collaboration between business and IT stakeholders.
Supporting the acceleration of digital initiatives and organizational change.
Agile Coach – Platform & Services Domain
Within this area, you will work with ARTs responsible for enabling and supporting other Agile Release Trains through shared platforms and IT services.
Responsibilities include:
Supporting platform development and service-oriented delivery models.
Helping balance priorities across multiple portfolios and stakeholder groups.
Ensuring alignment between business needs and platform capabilities.
Supporting technical sustainability, platform quality, and long-term scalability.
Requirements
Extensive experience as an Agile Coach within large-scale, complex organizations.
Strong expertise in the SAFe framework, including practical implementation in enterprise environments.
Proven experience supporting Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and ART leadership teams.
Experience working closely with Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Scrum Masters, and senior stakeholders.
Strong understanding of organizational dynamics and systems thinking.
Ability to identify root causes, uncover organizational patterns, and facilitate sustainable improvements.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience engaging with senior leadership and management teams.
Comfortable challenging existing practices while maintaining a collaborative and constructive approach.
Strong focus on delivery excellence, business value, and continuous improvement.
Ability to simplify complexity and provide clear direction within large-scale Agile environments.
