Technical Designer Secondary Systems
We are looking for a Technical Designer Secondary Systems to support the design and realization of electrical installations related to protection, automation, and control systems within high-voltage substations. The role involves working closely with project engineers, technicians, contractors, and experts during both the study and construction phases of projects. You will create and adapt technical drawings using AutoCAD, solve technical issues, and support commissioning activities on site.
Responsibilities
- Design and adapt technical drawings for secondary systems using AutoCAD
- Carry out studies based on project notes and technical standards
- Ensure quality control of technical designs and drawings
- Collaborate with project engineers, technicians, experts, and external stakeholders
- Send and coordinate drawings with the relevant departments
- Support the construction and integration of cubicles within substations
- Solve technical and design-related issues during construction and commissioning phases
- Provide on-site support together with project leaders and technicians
- Participate in training activities, site visits, and supplier visits during the traineeship
- Qualification in a relevant technical field such as electricity, electromechanics, automation, or engineering
- Interest in technical design activities and CAD software, preferably AutoCAD
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Accurate, detail-oriented, and well-organized working style
- Motivated to learn and further develop technical expertise
- Very good knowledge of Dutch and willingness to learn the second national language
