ICT Project Manager
We ARE Renewables is looking for an ICT Project Manager Identity & Access Management (IAM) for one of our clients in the Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the IAM (Identity & Access Management) program within a complex enterprise environment;
- Manage a multidisciplinary project team and act as the primary point of contact for daily execution and delivery;
- Coordinate IAM-related initiatives across IT, OT, cyber security, architecture, privacy, compliance, HR, and sourcing departments;
- Monitor project progress, milestones, dependencies, risks, budget, and overall project quality;
- Ensure alignment between business units, product teams, suppliers, and technical stakeholders;
- Drive the further development and implementation of IAM architecture, tooling, standards, and governance frameworks;
- Support the integration of existing and new applications into the IAM landscape;
- Identify project bottlenecks and proactively implement mitigation and escalation strategies;
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including project plans, roadmaps, schedules, and progress reports;
- Support business representatives in translating IAM objectives into concrete implementation actions;
- Contribute to improving cyber resilience and secure digitalization within critical energy infrastructure projects;
- Work within Agile SAFe environments and support continuous improvement initiatives;
Requirements:
- +7 years of demonstrable experience as an all-round ICT Project Manager within complex enterprise environments;
- Proven experience managing Identity & Access Management (IAM) or cybersecurity-related projects;
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, OT environments, governance, compliance, and secure digitalization;
- Experience working with enterprise architecture, cyber security, privacy, and supplier management teams;
- Experience managing projects within Agile and SAFe frameworks;
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across both technical and business environments;
- Experience within utilities, energy, infrastructure, or other critical infrastructure sectors is considered a strong advantage;
- HBO+/WO working and thinking level;
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken;
Additional Requirements:
- Availability to work 32–40 hours per week;
- Hybrid working model with partial on-site presence in Groningen;
- Ability to operate effectively in dynamic and complex project environments;
- Strong focus on collaboration, structure, ownership, and results;

- Contract: Freelance/ZZP
- Project Duration: Until 31-12-2026 (extension possible)
