Java DevOps Engineer
We ARE Renewables is looking for a Java DevOps Engineer for one of our clients in the energy sector.
As a Java DevOps Engineer, you will work in the Integration Team, which works using Agile methodologies and places great importance on the core values of focus, openness, commitment, courage, and respect. Together with the team, you are responsible for integrating and exposing various systems. You actively participate in the organization's Integration vision and support other DevOps teams in this regard. With a proactive attitude, you know how to obtain the right information and share it with your own team and other relevant DevOps teams.
Task and Responsibilities
- Analyzing, designing, developing and testing integration solutions;
- Providing training and promoting the Integration vision;
- Drafting integration conventions;
- Integration of governance and participation in the Design Authority community;
- Develop proprietary framework and supporting tooling;
- Drafting, implementing, and communicating the integration guidelines to the other 40+ DevOps teams within IT;
- Managing and monitoring the integration platforms;
- Continuously improving all aspects related to this position.
Key Requirements
- HBO working and thinking level;
- 3 to 5 years of (mid-level) experience as a Java developer;
- You are able to devise creative and structural solutions for the business and the client;
- good verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English;
- ambitious, proactive, entrepreneurial;
- quality-oriented, have an eye for detail;
- experience in IT integration, preferably based on Apache Camel;
- familiar with one or more tools and techniques such as REST, SOAP, OAuth, AMQP;
- interested in developments in the field of Enterprise Service Bus and Cloud solutions such as Azure;
- Knowledge of and experience with the following tools is a plus: Kubernetes and Azure Service Bus;
- Experience with Agile Scrum and Azure DevOps is a plus.
