CAD Designer – HV
Location: Monnoyer, Brussels
Hours per week: 40h
Contract: ZZP/ 1 year with extension
We ARE Renewables is looking for CAD Designers for one of our clients in the energy industry in Brussels. The Design Standards & Tools team is responsible for developing standard high-voltage and civil engineering drawings. These standard drawings are made available to project teams so they can work as efficiently and qualitatively as possible. As part of a design tool migration project, many components of the 3D model catalogues, as well as numerous complex 3D models and standard drawings, must be transferred from the old tools to the new ones.
Responsibilities:
- 3D modeling and layout of steel structures using Autodesk Advance Steel;
- Modeling catalogue components in Autodesk Inventor;
- 3D modeling and layout of high-voltage substation buildings in Revit;
- After training in the Substation Design Suite / P4A software: 3D modeling and layout of high-voltage substation bays.
Requirements:
- Degree in technical drafting/design or equivalent experience;
- Experience in 3D modeling and creating 2D drawings based on these models;
- Good knowledge of one or more of the following Autodesk software tools: Revit, Inventor, Advance Steel or good knowledge of other drafting/design software combined with strong learning ability and willingness to quickly adopt the above tools.
- Good command of Dutch and/or French;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office;
- Strong planning and organizational skills with a high sense of responsibility;
- Attention to detail and quality.
