Assignment Overview
For a public sector organization, we are looking for an experienced Information Manager / Advisor to support the CIO Office within the Social Domain.
In this role, you will advise on information management (IV) and IT-related topics across several ongoing projects and system changes within the Social Domain. You will help ensure that applications, processes, and IT infrastructure are aligned with organizational goals, legislation, and internal frameworks.
- Start: June 2026
- Duration: Until December 31, 2027
- Workload: 32 hours per week
- Hybrid working environment
Responsibilities
- Advise on the setup and development of information management (IV) and IT within the Social Domain.
- Translate business needs and organizational policies into practical IV/IT solutions and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain a roadmap and overview of ongoing and upcoming Social Domain projects.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across business and IT teams to ensure alignment between projects, systems, and processes.
- Map functional requirements, application landscapes, and data flows.
- Provide hands-on support and advice during project execution.
- Ensure compliance with internal frameworks related to architecture, privacy, security, and information management.
- Assess feasibility and impact of initiatives, considering timelines, budget, dependencies, and resources.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as an Information Manager, Information Advisor, or similar role within the Social Domain at a municipality or public-sector organization.
- Experience advising on complex IV/IT-related topics and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience translating functional requirements into application and process architecture.
- HBO or university-level working and thinking ability.
- Good knowledge of legislation and developments within the Social Domain.
- Knowledge of information management, privacy, security, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style.
- Able to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
- Hands-on mentality with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
