We ARE Renewables is looking for a Quality Assurance& Support Expert for one of our clients in the energy sector
 

You will join a technical engineering environment focused on supporting the reliability and sustainability of the high-voltage electricity grid. Together with engineers, technical experts, suppliers, and project teams, you will contribute to the development and improvement of quality processes, supplier follow-up, technical documentation, and engineering support activities.

The role combines quality assurance, process management, supplier coordination, and technical support within an international and fast-evolving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of a Quality Management framework based on ISO 9001 principles
  • Analyze, map, and improve internal processes and workflows
  • Prepare and support supplier audits and supplier qualification activities
  • Follow up on supplier quality performance, inspections, and non-conformities
  • Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
  • Maintain quality dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools
  • Organize, publish, and archive technical documentation in internal systems and databases
  • Support document exchange platforms and engineering tools
  • Assist with process documentation such as flowcharts, swimlane diagrams, and PACI matrices
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, quality, IT teams, and external suppliers across Europe

Profile

  • Technical or engineering background, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with quality management systems and supplier follow-up
  • Affinity with process mapping and continuous improvement
  • Structured and detail-oriented way of working
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • Comfortable working with technical procedures, templates, and IT tools
  • Open mindset and willingness to learn
  • Willing to travel within Belgium and occasionally within Europe

Languages

  • Good command of English is required
  • Dutch and/or French are strongly preferred

Additional Information

  • Location: Monnoyer, Belgium
  • Hybrid setup: 2 days onsite
  • Long-term project within a technically advanced and collaborative environment

  • Valid Belgian work permit required
  • Valid Belgian residence permit required
