Crew Coordinator
Crew Coordinator – Offshore Fleet Management
Location: Papendrecht (hybrid: up to 2 days remote)
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Contract type: Payroll / Detachering / Deta-vast preferred
About the Role
We are looking for a Crew Coordinator to support the Offshore Fleet Management team, focusing on cable lay vessels. In this role, you will be responsible for the effective planning, coordination, and administration of offshore crew, ensuring operational continuity and compliance at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain accurate crew planning for assigned vessels in close collaboration with the vessel management team
- Organize and manage crew changes, including booking flights and arranging transportation to and from vessels
- Ensure all crew members meet required training standards in line with the internal training matrix and project-specific requirements
- Monitor crew availability and proactively address planning gaps
- Coordinate with the Crewing HR team to ensure vacancies are filled in a timely manner
- Maintain up-to-date crew records and documentation
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in crewing, crew coordination, or a similar role within offshore, maritime, or related industries
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset
