The Belgian, German, and broader European energy sectors are rapidly evolving. Our client plays a crucial role in ensuring a reliable and sustainable electricity supply across multiple countries.
You will work alongside contingent workers and internal teams to contribute to the development of a sustainable, green, and reliable energy infrastructure that supports economic growth while reducing environmental impact.
As part of a large-scale transformation program within the IT organization, you will contribute to a strategic initiative aimed at supporting the energy transition. This program focuses on addressing organizational, technical, and governance-related gaps to align with future business and regulatory needs.
The program’s objectives include:
- Continuously updating the target operating model and identifying gaps based on audits, business plans, and regulatory changes
- Defining a roadmap to close identified gaps, considering value, cost, and urgency
- Launching and delivering implementation initiatives
- Ensuring alignment and consistency with external initiatives
As a Governance Delivery Analyst, you will support and drive multiple implementation initiatives within this transformation program.
Responsibilities
- Clarify and detail the scope of identified gaps and related implementation initiatives
- Gather and define requirements from key stakeholders
- Align scope across initiatives and ensure coverage of identified gaps while avoiding overlaps
- Define governance frameworks, including:
- Guidelines
- Business processes
- Roles and responsibilities
- Ensure governance processes are effectively embedded and followed
- Support the implementation of governance structures by:
- Securing stakeholder buy-in
- Delivering training and preparing supporting materials
- Setting up governance bodies (e.g., communities of practice, Centers of Excellence) where required
- Providing hands-on support during implementation phases
Requirements
- Fluent in English and either French or Dutch (written and spoken), with good understanding of the other language
- Master’s degree in a technical, economic, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in:
- Organizational design
- Business process analysis
- Business architecture or similar domains
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships
- Client-oriented and empathetic mindset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align and convince multiple stakeholders
- Critical thinker with a structured approach
- Affinity with IT (infrastructure, applications, communication, IoT, etc.) and interest in the energy sector
- Ability to work independently and manage own activities
