We’re looking for a proactive and detail-driven Planner who can make a real impact from tender stage through to project delivery.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of project success—building robust schedules, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring everything stays on track. You’ll combine analytical thinking with strong communication skills to guide projects forward and optimize performance every step of the way.
As a Planner, you play a key role in shaping and safeguarding the timeline of projects. You don’t just create schedules—you drive clarity, identify opportunities, and help teams perform at their best.
Tasks & responsibilities:
- Developing and managing tender and project schedules from concept to execution
- Setting up and leading the overall planning process, ensuring alignment with stakeholders
- Gathering and integrating input from project teams to create realistic, achievable plans
- Acting as the go-to expert for planning-related questions, providing clear solutions and insights
- Monitoring progress and delivering regular updates to stakeholders
- Identifying interfaces, risks, and opportunities early—and acting on them proactively
- Performing data analysis to continuously optimize project performance and add value
- Supporting probabilistic schedule analysis and contributing to risk management processes
- Collaborating on variation orders and claims in close coordination with controlling and legal teams
- Contributing to continuous improvement by sharing insights and staying up to date with industry developments
- Coaching and supporting junior planning engineers in their professional growth
- 3 - 6 years relevant work experience Expert / Skilled user of Primavera
- Full knowledge of planning theory, aware of industry best practices Good command of English (written and spoken). Good knowledge of project management (IPMA D or equivalent) and risk management
- Good knowledge of BU operations Good knowledge of Critical Path Methods practices
- ENGLISH speaking only possible;
- 3 days minimum at the office in Papendrecht;
- Proven experience/user of Primavera;
