Senior Test (Automation) Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Working within a multidisciplinary DevOps team and collaborating closely with colleagues across the value chain.
- Setting up, maintaining, and executing manual and automated end-to-end tests based on risk analysis and strategy.
- Drafting test cases using specification techniques, drafting logical and physical test cases, applying risk analyses, and executing manual test scenarios.
- Identifying, reporting, and following up on defects and test findings; collaborating with developers to analyze root causes and determine solution directions.
- Collaborate with developers, information analysts, system architects, and other stakeholders to understand test requirements and translate them into acceptance criteria.
- Keeping project and test management applications such as Jira and TesterSuite up to date; jointly responsible for documenting executed tests and providing advice for decision-making (Go/No-Go).
- Implementing and maintaining test automation and best practices with Tricentis Tosca and Postman tools; contributing to CI/CD pipelines via GitLab.
- Drafting, maintaining, and executing test plans; determining test levels, test types, and test techniques; ensuring adequate test coverage and risk assessment (PRA).
- Ensuring compliance with regulations such as NIS2 and GDPR.
- At least a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related field.
- Certification in ISTQB, TMAP, ISQI CAT or a comparable certification.
- Certification in Tricentis Tosca skills: AS1, AS2, TDS1; API certification is a plus.
- Experience with risk-based (PRA) and/or impact-based testing.
- Experience with developing test analyses based on test techniques and coverage.
- Experience with Tricentis Tosca for API and GUI test automation.
