GIS Specialist
Translating the clients standards and ISO 19650 agreements into understandable and applicable training modules. Setting up and maintaining train-the-trainer learning pathways per target group and Business Line. Training internal trainers in the practical use of ArcGIS. Coaching trainers in: Didactic skills Application of ArcGIS within the project context Act as a substantive sparring partner for trainers regarding questions and challenges.
Ensuring working methods and standards Ensuring the consistent application of ArcGIS practices within training. Identifying differences in usage between Business Lines and bringing them back to established standards. Documenting and updating: Training guidelines Manuals Best practices
Coordinating with Business Lines, the MAD Program Team, Asset Data Management, Document Control, and chain partners regarding training content. Supporting Business Lines in setting up their own ArcGIS training capacity. Facilitating knowledge sharing among trainers.
You are energetic, proactive, and focused on innovation. You take responsibility for your work, communicate clearly, and know how to bring people along in change and the practical application of new working methods. You are confident and think in solutions. In addition, you possess: A completed higher professional education with several years of relevant experience. A technical background (e.g. mechanical engineering, civil engineering or piping engineering). Experience with standardization and quality assurance (preferred). At least 5 years of experience in an engineering environment using BIM. Demonstrable experience with an ArcGIS system. Knowledge of Dutch BIM standards (ISO 19650, BIR publications). Experience guiding teams through changes in working methods. Strong communication skills and the ability to connect, enabling you to make new working methods and tooling understandable to engineers and project teams. Language spoken on a professional level: Dutch and English
