Regiomanager
As Regional Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a full operational region within the electricity and gas execution chain (GVR&N). You will ensure that production plans are realistic, approved, and delivered, while managing high operational pressure, workforce shortages, and complex stakeholder environments. You will be part of the management team and act as the link between policy, execution, and daily operational performance across the region.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Leading 5–8 team leaders and indirectly managing 80–140 FTE (engineers, project managers, coordinators, executors);
- Owning the regional production plan, feasibility (“maakbaarheid”), and operational delivery;
- Monitoring progress, budget, and portfolio performance within the execution chain GVR&N;
- Solving complex operational and chain-wide management challenges;
- Driving performance and accountability across internal teams and chain partners;
- Ensuring optimal team structure, onboarding, and development in a region with continuous hiring pressure;
- Acting as primary point of contact for internal departments and external partners;
- Reporting directly to the Director GVR&N and participating in the management team.
Requirements
- WO level (technical or business background);
- Minimum 7 years in a leadership role within a management team;
- Minimum 10 years of operational management experience in execution-driven organizations;
- Proven experience in complex stakeholder environments;
- Experience in semi-governmental or public organizations is a strong plus;
- Strong people leader with high perseverance and operational focus;
- Fluent Dutch (CVs in Dutch required).
Location: Noord-Holland Noord, the Netherlands (on-site)
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Freelance (ZZP) – assignment until end of 2026
