Junior Structural Engineer
Junior Engineer Structures Calculations
Mission:
Join a key player in the energy sector and contribute to a sustainable, green, and reliable energy infrastructure. You will be responsible for the engineering of high-voltage lines and their supporting structures within major electrical infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Study and design new masts or modifications to existing structures.
Perform specialized calculations and manage study planning.
Guide designers in developing calculation models (internal and external).
Prepare tender documents and participate in the procurement process.
Oversee production and testing of masts and structures.
Provide technical support on site and prepare works in collaboration with project leaders, suppliers, and contractors.
Monitor quality management, perform checks, and report.
Optimize and implement calculation rules in software tools.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Physics.
Affinity with technical detail studies.
Knowledge and experience in designing steel structures.
Experience with engineering software, 3D, and finite element software.
Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., Eurocodes).
Strong sense of responsibility and organizational talent.
Team player.
Knowledge of MS Project, VB.NET, VBA scripting, Fortran is a plus.
Languages: Excellent NL or FR + basic knowledge of the other national language; solid English for external communication.
