Electrical Project Engineer – High Voltage Substations
Location: Weert (4 days/week) + project sites / home office
Role summary:
We are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to lead the design and delivery of high-voltage substations (up to 150 kV). You will manage the entire process from basic design to commissioning, focusing on remote control systems, monitoring, and protection of primary installations.
Key responsibilities:
Create project and design specifications based on technical standards
Collaborate with civil, primary, and secondary engineering disciplines
Supervise detail engineers and manage contractors (UAV knowledge is a plus)
Prepare cost calculations, manage tenders, and monitor project quality
Stay up to date with innovations in HV engineering
What you bring:
HBO degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering
Several years of experience in industrial electrical projects
Experience with AutoCAD or E-plan
Strong project management and leadership skills
Familiarity with UAV and contractor management is a plus
