About the Role
As a Business Analyst, you will act as the key link between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring that business needs are translated into effective and scalable technical solutions.
You will analyse business processes, gather and structure requirements, and support the implementation of systems that drive operational efficiency and strategic objectives. This role requires a mindset of continuous improvement—remaining curious, constructively critical, and focused on delivering long-term value.
Core Responsibilities
Analyse end-to-end business processes in a structured and effective manner, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and BPMN methodology
Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to optimizing existing processes, working closely with business architects
Structure and represent business concepts clearly, including modelling information using UML class diagrams
Understand and apply the relationship between business capabilities, data ownership, and information models
Elicit, clarify, and prioritize both functional and non-functional requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and Agile teams
Work closely with the Product Owner to define and refine the product backlog
Collaborate with Solution Architects to design solutions that meet business needs while aligning with architectural principles
Support and execute testing activities, including writing test cases and contributing to business acceptance testing
Create and maintain clear, structured, and high-quality documentation, while improving documentation practices
Take ownership in driving business needs into implemented solutions, challenging assumptions constructively and ensuring delivery of real business value
Your Profile
Master’s degree or equivalent experience
5–8 years of experience in business analysis and requirements documentation
Fluent in Dutch and/or French, with good knowledge of the second language, and English
Strong knowledge of Business Analysis methodologies (BABOK, UML, BPMN)
Experience working in Agile environments is a plus
Knowledge of ArchiMate is a plus

Location: Brussels, Belgium
Hybrid working model: typically 2 days on-site per week
