QA Support Engineer - Solar PV
Role Overview:
We ARE seeking a Quality Assurance Support Engineer to support solar photovoltaic (PV) and revamping projects across Italy. You will be responsible for managing Non-Conformities (NCRs) and supporting claims processes with contractors and suppliers, ensuring quality standards are met throughout project execution. You will also assist with inspection coordination and expediting activities to support project delivery.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Support the management of Non-Conformities (NCRs) related to construction activities, materials, and supplies.
- Analyze root causes of non-conformities and collect technical evidence.
- Assist in defining, implementing, and verifying corrective actions.
- Support the management of claims towards contractors, suppliers, and sub-suppliers.
- Coordinate with internal teams including QA, Engineering, Construction, and Procurement.
- Assist in planning and coordinating inspection activities with suppliers and construction sites.
- Ensure inspections are carried out in accordance with project requirements.
- Manage, review, and archive inspection documentation and reports.
- Monitor supply progress and follow up on technical and quality documentation.
- Support expediting activities both remotely and on-site when required.
- Prepare and update quality assurance and progress reports.
- Ensure proper document traceability and information flow between stakeholders
- Technical Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electrotechnical, or Energy Engineering.
- Entry-level or initial experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, construction, or solar PV projects.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and renewable energy projects.
- Exposure to NCRs, inspections, or site activities is considered a plus.
- Fluent in Italian and professional level in English.
- Availability to travel across Italy.
- Mandatory requirement: Applicant needs to have this/relevant experience clearly stated on the CV.
- Full-time position supporting renewable energy project execution.
Initial on-site presence: 5 days per week, with possible smart working later. - Involvement in both office-based and field activities (sites and suppliers).
Location: Milan, Italy (with travel across Italy).
Start Date: April 2026
