Analysis Engineer
Role Overview:
We ARE seeking an Analysis Engineer to support engineering projects in the oil & gas sector. You will be responsible for performing dynamic and structural analyses to ensure safe and efficient solutions for subsea, ROV, IMR, decommissioning, and SURF projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dynamic and structural analyses using tools such as OrcaFlex, MathCad, SAP2000, Genie, etc.
- Provide technical recommendations based on analysis results.
- Support engineering design, verification, and validation activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare clear engineering reports, documentation, and project deliverables.
- Participate in construction, commissioning, or start-up site visits when required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Naval, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in the oil & gas sector, preferably subsea/ROV, IMR, decommissioning, or SURF projects.
- Strong experience in dynamic analysis; structural analysis experience is a bonus.
- Proficient with engineering analysis software (OrcaFlex, MathCad, SAP2000, Genie, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Location: Haugesund, Norway
