Quality Inspector
The Quality Inspector is responsible for assessing the technical quality of installation and construction work on low- and medium-voltage electricity networks based on photo inspections. The role focuses on identifying deviations, reporting findings, communicating with contractors, and contributing to quality and safety improvements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct photo inspections of completed low- and medium-voltage installation work.
- Verify whether installations comply with technical standards, safety rules, and guidelines.
- Identify deviations such as incorrect installation methods or materials.
- Prepare clear inspection reports and classify findings (approved, approved with remarks, rejected).
- Communicate inspection results and feedback to internal stakeholders and contractors.
- Advise on corrective actions and improvements.
- Contribute to quality improvement programs and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety and installation regulations.
Requirements
- MBO degree in Electrical Engineering (level 3 or 4), preferably in energy technology.
- Strong knowledge of low- and medium-voltage networks and installation processes.
- Several years of practical experience as an electrical or LV/MV network technician (preferred).
- Experience with cable installation, connections, cabinets, and other network components.
- Experience with quality inspections or audits is a plus.
- Strong technical insight and attention to detail.
- Analytical skills to assess technical work from photos.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work objectively and accurately with reporting systems.
