Site Engineer - Offshore Substation
Site Engineer – Offshore Substation Project (Netherlands)
We are looking for a hands-on Site Engineer to support the construction and outfitting of offshore AC substation modules in Schiedam or Vlissingen.Your Responsibilities
- Support the Construction Manager on site
- Follow up technical issues during outfitting works
- Coordinate inspections (welding, painting, safety, etc.)
- Monitor quality and follow up non-conformities
- Review contractor documents
- Act as the link between site and engineering team
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports
- Coordinate vendors and subcontractors coming to site
Requirements
- Engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of site experience
- Experience in multidisciplinary construction environments
- Offshore or topside experience is a strong plus
- Experience with quality control is a plus
- VCA VOL certificate
- Fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
Extra info:
- Location: Schiedam or Vlissingen
- Onsite presence: 5 days a week / 8hrs a day as a minimum in Schiedam or Vlissingen (Netherlands)
