Solution Architect – Brussels / Berlin (Hybrid)

We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join the IT Architecture team within the Digital Division. This role focuses on optimizing and modernizing the IT infrastructure and application landscape while supporting business transformation initiatives across Belgium and Germany.

As a Solution Architect, you will design and adapt technical solutions that address business needs and align with enterprise architecture vision, standards, and governance frameworks. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and delivery teams to ensure end-to-end solution alignment and successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze functional and non-functional requirements and architectural constraints

  • Translate business capabilities into solution building blocks using appropriate architectural styles and patterns

  • Align stakeholders across product, architecture, and delivery teams

  • Ensure solution delivery is consistent with approved designs

  • Contribute to architecture governance processes (Design Boards, ADR, ATAM)

  • Design integration and application architectures using modern best practices

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Solution Architect

  • Strong knowledge of ArchiMate, TOGAF, ATAM, CBAM

  • Experience with architecture modeling tools (Sparx Enterprise Architect is a plus)

  • Solid understanding of Domain Driven Design (DDD), microservices, and event-driven architectures

  • Agile mindset and experience working in Agile environments

  • Autonomous, proactive, and results-oriented

  • Fluent in English and German (mandatory)

Additional Information:

  • Hybrid working model (minimum 2 days on-site)

  • Work split between Brussels and Berlin (travel covered)
