Tender Engineer - Cable Installation
We ARE Renewables is recruiting a Tender Engineer – Cable Installation for one of our leading clients in the offshore renewables industry. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale offshore projects and play a key role in the preparation of competitive and innovative tender proposals within the Cable Installation department.
As a Tender Engineer, you will be part of the Tender Department and work closely with Tender Managers and multidisciplinary teams on global offshore projects.
Your Responsibilities
- Participate in the acquisition process of global offshore cable installation projects
- Play a key role in the preparation and submission of high-quality tender proposals
- Analyse tender documentation received from clients
- Develop installation methodologies, work programs, cost calculations, and risk assessments
- Draft installation sequences and technical drawings
- Liaise with subcontractors, partners, and internal supporting departments
- Prepare reports for internal reviews and external client approvals
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
- Experience in tendering, preparation, or follow-up of marine construction projects is mandatory
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
- Passion for the marine environment and large-scale offshore projects involving heavy equipment
- Strong attention to detail, well-organized, and structured in your way of working
- Able to manage strict deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Flexible attitude and willingness to travel abroad for short assignments, meetings, and site visits
