IT Infrastructure Designer
Stakeholder management and proactivity are central to this role and part of the daily work.
Note: This role is not focused on cloud design or software development, although knowledge of these areas is considered a strong plus to ensure correct translation of requirements into technical solutions.
Key Projects (Founding the Future)
- Workday: Further develop, elaborate, and implement high-level designs (technical and functional) and coordinate with delivery partners
- IFS: Further develop, elaborate, and implement high-level designs (technical and functional) and coordinate with delivery partners
- SWIFT migration
- Provide advice and insights on technical infrastructure solutions
- Design new or optimized infrastructure solutions together with the Infra/Cloud Domain Architect
- Align with business, IT, architects, and project stakeholders to ensure scalability, flexibility, performance, and security
- Support the execution of business projects and programs
- Work with operational IT teams to implement, renew, and improve existing solutions
- Work in an automation-focused way, identify improvement opportunities, apply best practices, and ensure standardization and efficiency
- Contribute to High-Level Design (HLD) documentation and support other architecture experts on business and IT projects
- Deliver designs (HLD, LLD) and guidelines to engineering teams
- Provide specialist support to IT Operations on complex domain issues
- Collaborate with Product Owners on lifecycle management and roadmap needs
Requirements
- Minimum 5–6 years of experience in a similar role within large international organizations
- Experience working in project-based environments
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure, container services, networking, server virtualization, and security technologies
- Experience with cloud-native technologies
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments and willing to challenge boundaries
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a practical, results-oriented mindset
- Proactive with strong stakeholder management skills
- Experience creating visualizations, designs, and architecture documentation
- Fluent English, preferably native Dutch
