Job description

  • You ensure that the planning (content and technical) of the Sub-area complies with the Contract conditions and Scope requirements
    • Including purchases, design planning and implementation planning for the relevant sub-area
  • You are responsible for drawing up the plan, measuring progress, analyzing it and providing advice on potential opportunities and threats for the project.
  • You are responsible for the preparation and analysis of Deterministic and Probabilistic planning (including Monte Carlo simulations)
  • You are responsible for drawing up and maintaining resource histograms
  • You are responsible for drawing up and maintaining S-curves
  • You test the input provided, whether requested or not, based on experience
  • You are responsible for drawing up schedules in light of compensable incidents related to the sub-area, but with the support of a "planner CV"
  • You report progress to the progress committee of the sub-area (to Project Management/Core Team Members)
  • You report to the Planning Management Manager (progress, uniformity, status, compensable incidents, etc.)
  • You can act as a catalyst between the Planning Manager and the work planners and streamline the information for changes and progress monitoring.
  • You can determine priorities in consultation with the (project) management team
  • Defining and integrating information needs, activities and procedures in the field of planning
  • You ensure integral coordination with other management aspects such as risk, contract, document control and finance
  • You propose improvements to optimize the planning process
  • You create overviews at different levels by streamlining project information from project employees to project management and clients
  • You work out multiple scenarios based on acceleration or deceleration
  • You manage other work planners/junior planners
  • You have knowledge and experience with contract management and the different contract types
  • Communicating with (senior) management; counterpart for client/contractor
  • Area planners back up each other (specifically to be determined)
  • Job requirements

  • You have at least 4 years of relevant work experience
  • You have a Bachelor's/Master's degree in work and thinking. (Technically trained preferred)
  • You have knowledge and experience with project management
  • You have knowledge of project management related software applications such as Oracle Primavera P6, MS Excel, Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis, TILOS, TurboChart, MS Project, SharePoint and/or Relatics
  • You have knowledge and experience with contract management
  • You have knowledge and experience with risk management
  • Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written
  • You have experience working on technical projects in various phases
  • You have a positive, critical, flexible and proactive attitude
  • You are careful, independent, structured and analytically strong
  • You possess leadership skills to manage a team
  • You use good communication and social skills.
