Onderhoudsmonteur - Mission Equipment Technician
Als Onderhoudsmonteur (Mission Equipment Technician) ben je primair verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren (of toezicht houden) van het vereiste preventieve onderhoud en de reparatiewerkzaamheden aan zwaar materieel (Mission Equipment, ME) wanneer dit terugkeert naar het magazijn. Dit materieel wordt gebruikt voor offshoreprojecten.
In deze rol rapporteer je aan de Mission Equipment Engineer (ME Engineer).

Je standplaats is de haven van Vlissingen, Nederland.
Taken en verantwoordelijkheden:
- Zorgen voor juiste conservering en staat van paraatheid; ervoor zorgen dat mission equipment gebruiksklaar is en kan bijdragen aan een optimaal productieproces. Dit omvat: het uitvoeren van reparaties, preventief onderhoud en het verwerken van M&R-activiteiten in ons ERP-systeem (Maximo).
- Zorgen voor veilige en efficiënte inzet van mensen en materieel tijdens technische werkzaamheden, in lijn met de QHSE-procedures van het bedrijf, en verantwoordelijkheid nemen voor veiligheid in de technische werkruimtes.
- Toezien op naleving van veiligheidsregels door personen onder jouw supervisie (aannemers) en zorgen voor correcte toepassing van het PTW-systeem.
- Zorgen voor een nette en georganiseerde werkomgeving in technische ruimtes.
- De ME Engineer ondersteunen bij het onderhouden van een correcte inventaris van ME-assets.
- Waar nodig M&R-activiteiten uitbesteden aan onderaannemers, deze coördineren en de uitvoering opvolgen.
- Inkoopaanvragen creëren en opvolgen voor onderdelen en diensten, kwaliteitscontroles uitvoeren bij ontvangst en zorgen voor tijdige levering van materialen.
- Voorraadbeheer uitvoeren van reserveonderdelen en verbruiksartikelen op een kostenbewuste manier. Zorgen voor voldoende voorraad en het bijhouden van onderdelenlijsten van ME.
- Operationele teams ondersteunen bij projectvoorbereidingen en assisteren bij de overdracht van materieel naar schepen tijdens mobilisatieperiodes (zowel fysiek als digitaal in het onderhoudssysteem Maximo).
- Off-hire-inspecties uitvoeren wanneer mission equipment terugkeert uit operatie en de overdracht van schip naar wal verwerken in het onderhoudssysteem.

Required: Technician
As Technician (Mission Equipment Technician), your main responsibility will be to perform (or supervise) the required preventive maintenance and repair activities of heavy equipment (Mission Equipment (ME) when it is returning to the warehouse. This equipment’s are used for projects offshore.
In this role you will be reporting to the Mission Equipment Engineer (ME Engineer).
Due to our sustained investment effort the company operates one of the largest and most modern, versatile and purpose-built fleets in the world. As a technician you will work in a challenging environment in which you are dealing with heavy equipment, complex installations and project deadlines.
Your main location will be at the port in Vlissingen the Netherlands.
Your tasks & responsibilities:
- Ensure proper conservation and state of readiness; ensure that mission equipment is ready for use and can contribute to an optimal production process. This includes: performing repair activities, performing preventive maintenance activities and processing M&R activities in our ERP system (Maximo).
- Ensure safe & efficient deployment of people and equipment during technical activities, in-line with company QHSE-S procedures and assume responsibility for safety in the technical workspaces.
- Ensure that people under your supervision (contractors) follow the safety rules during works and ensure adherence to the PTW system.
- Ensure proper housekeeping in technical areas.
- Assist the ME Engineer in maintaining a correct inventory of ME assets.
- Outsource & coordinate M&R activities to subcontractors where required and follow up on the execution of the works.
- Create and follow up necessary purchase requisitions for spare parts & services, carry out quality control at receipt, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Perform stock control of spares & consumables in a cost-conscious way. Keep adequate stock of parts and maintain spare part lists of ME.
- Support operational teams during project preparation works and assist in transfer of equipment to vessels during mobilization periods (physically and digitally in our maintenance system Maximo).
- Perform off-hire surveys when the mission equipment returns from operations and process the transfer from vessel to shore in the maintenance system.
