Shareholder Controller
Description:
You will exercise the rights and obligations as the legal owner of the affiliated companies in the Europe region and represent the interests of the shareholder function to the management of the companies.
Responsibilities:
• Assume the rights and obligations as the legal owner of the affiliated companies in the Europe region
• Represent the interests of the shareholder function to the management of the companies
• Design and optimize corporate shareholding structures and implement them in practice in a goal-oriented manner
• Analyze financial key figures and balance sheet structures, develop proposals to optimize the capital structures of the companies, and ensure compliance with guidelines for dividend payments
• Participate as a leader of relevant workstreams in carve-out and integration projects, as well as the corporate implementation of foundations, mergers, and liquidations within the framework of M&A projects
• Actively shape the digital transformation of the shareholder function.
Requirements:
• University degree or equivalent experience in business administration or similar fields
• Long-term proven experience in controlling, reporting, accounting, or shareholder controlling, preferably also in a commercial operational function in exchange with regional units
• Experience in project and process management for small to medium-sized projects, as well as first experience in leading (virtual) teams
• Experience in implementing digital financial processes
• Full Business proficiency in English, and ideally German
