Location: Remote / Travel to Site in IJmuiden, Netherlands (3 days per week minimum)
Contract Type: 6-month project (with potential extension)
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

About the Role

We Are Renewables is supporting one of our clients in the renewable energy sector in their search for a Senior Contract Manager to strengthen their offshore operations team in the Netherlands. This role focuses on managing complex Operation & Maintenance (O&M) contracts within the offshore wind industry and ensuring effective contract performance, compliance, and claims management.

As a Senior Contract Manager, you will act as a key link between project, legal, and commercial teams, providing strategic and operational support throughout all phases of contract execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide contract management support across offshore wind service and maintenance contracts.

  • Lead and coordinate claims management and dispute resolution for ongoing projects.

  • Prepare and deliver contract awareness sessions for operational and service teams.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure full compliance with contractual obligations.

  • Develop and maintain contract-specific documentation to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Analyse operational challenges and propose practical, commercially viable solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in contract management for large-scale energy or infrastructure projects.

  • Background in Operation & Maintenance (O&M) contracts, ideally within offshore wind.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to interpret and manage complex contractual frameworks.

  • University degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in English (Dutch language skills are an advantage).
