Your Role
As a Business & Implementation Consultant EO, your focus will be on the Business Projects department, responsible for projects on the low- and medium-voltage network for business customers and public authorities.
You will work closely with the Business Consultant from this department, who was previously involved in drafting acceptance criteria for Electric Office together with key users. This colleague has coordinated with IT on deliverables and is responsible for defining the to-be processes. They will also support you during the training phase.
What You Will Do
As part of the Business Consultation & Implementation Team EO, you will collaborate with:
The Implementation Lead
Six other Consultants, each with their own area of expertise
IT build teams and the technical lead team (IT Lead, Interface Lead, Migration Lead, Test Lead)
The Mobile Project Team
Business departments, with a strong emphasis on Business Projects
Your key responsibilities include:
Preparing and delivering information sessions for end-users and stakeholders
Guiding key users in their role as subject-matter experts
Reviewing and validating training materials
Preparing the full training program (kick-off, e-learnings, practice days)
Co-organizing the “train-the-trainer” program
Acting as a facilitating trainer during training sessions
Explaining and implementing new processes, workflows, state models, and agreements
Coordinating key users in giving demos and guiding colleagues
Engaging with team leaders on progress and involvement
Activating team leaders to motivate and support their employees
Supporting the business during the hypercare phase, according to the aftercare plan
What We Expect From You
To succeed in this assignment, you bring the following skills and experience:
Strong didactic skills and experience in training diverse groups
Experience with large-scale change programs involving IT, processes, and HR components
Knowledge of and experience with change management in complex organizations
Basic knowledge of operational processes within a grid operator for gas and electricity
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage different audiences
Affinity with the human side of change and the ability to translate system change into behavioral change
Experience in developing, embedding, and improving new processes
Strong organizational skills: able to structure both your own work and that of others
Ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams in a dynamic environment
Comfortable switching between different levels, from senior management to engineers and GIS operators
Skilled at engaging stakeholders at the right time and guiding teams step by step through change
Effective presentation skills for specialist groups of 30–50 participants
A connector who builds bridges across departments and creates buy-in
Decision-making ability based on the 80/20 principle, with clear communication of choices
Duration: 6 months with the option to extend
