HSE Coordinator
S upport the site management team by providing leadership, demonstrating, and promoting responsible attitudes towards HSE; I mplementing best practice with regard to HSE standards and contributing towards the delivery of the overall business HSE strategy; C oordinate with internal workforce and external contractors to ensure that a suitable and sufficient Safe system of work is in place prior to works being undertaken, and liaise with site managers to monitor that this is adhered to during the execution of works; E nsure that contractors comply with Environmental, Health, and Safety Legislation, Customer and Site requirements.
Recognized HSE qualification (e.g., HVK, equivalent of NEBOSH Certificate; Several Years’ experience in an HSE role in the Wind Turbine Construction or maintenance industry; High level in English is essential, including technical English for communicating with foreign colleagues, customer, and subcontractors, or reading all Corporate documentation, preparing documents, etc.... Dutch is a high advantage; Personal qualities: Rigourous, autonomy, taste for teamwork. Committed and flexible, with a large proportion of activities linked to scheduling, Excellent communication, listening, and leadership skills. Exemplary in terms of HSE; Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team; High motivation level; self-starter with excellent leadership and interpersonal and leadership skills; High capability with various office and cloud-based software; This position is office-based (Monday-Friday), no rotational shift, but will need to go offshore regularly, some days with the Operational Team The role will require applicants to be fit to work Offshore, and applicants must be comfortable with working at height; Preferred Skills: GWO (Global Wind Organization) Training Package; Experience in HSE incident case management - i.e., TapRooT RCA (Root Cause Analysis) method, an advantage.
