We ARE Renewables is looking for a driven Toezichthouder Bouw for the completion of the A-pier at Schiphol to expand the project team.
 
As a supervisor, you are responsible for overseeing the completion phase of the new pier at Schiphol. You will work together with a team of supervisors and report to the site manager. Your task is to ensure that the completion phase runs smoothly. This involves monitoring the quality of (sub)contractors, assessing the feasibility and constructability of designs, and ensuring compliance with contracts. The focus is on guiding, supervising, and inspecting technical work and maintaining safety on the construction site. Additionally, you will maintain close contact with various Schiphol departments to ensure that the work aligns seamlessly with daily operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise mechanical engineering projects and ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Assist with inspections and monitor the progress of work on-site.
  • Prepare progress reports and flag any deviations.
  • Collaborate with team members and external parties to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Contribute to solving technical issues and suggest improvements
  • Enforce safety regulations and ensure environmental rules are followed on-site.

Requirements:
  • Completed MBO or HBO degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the mechanical engineering sector.
  • Solid knowledge of technical drawings and specifications.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to share your mechanical engineering knowledge with colleagues and to keep developing your expertise.
