Position: Party Chief

We are Renewables is looking for an experienced Party Chief to oversee survey activities for one of our clients on offshore fall pipe vessels. Operating within the dredging and offshore industry, the survey department plays a crucial role in organizing hydrographic and topographic measurements throughout all project phases worldwide. We are seeking a motivated professional who can lead a team of surveyors and ensure operational excellence on board.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Manage survey operations, including preparation, mobilization, and execution, ensuring they are conducted safely and in accordance with the method statement.
  • Lead the offshore project team on board, optimizing productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, including Project Management, Client representatives, the Vessel Master, and crew members.
  • Monitor project progress and quality, ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standards.
  • Deliver project outputs on time, maintaining exceptional quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to report on budget and cost control.
Requirements:
  • A diploma in hydrographic surveying, geophysics, geology, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience as a Party Chief in the offshore industry.
  • Familiarity with marine survey techniques and software.
  • Practical problem-solving skills with the ability to operate in challenging and remote conditions.
  • Strong communication skills and a critical mindset toward project execution.
  • Fluency in verbal and written English; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Willingness to work on board for extended periods, adhering to a 1:1 rotational schedule.
